We are thrilled by the response, and the grants that the PTA awarded this fall. We received eleven proposals with requests totaling over $4,700.00 Seven of these proposals were either fully or partially funded. The committee had many tough decisions to make with our limited funds ($1475.00).

The following grants were awarded this fall:

Katy Plotner - $160 Therapy Ball Chairs for use in the classroom

Melissa Suits (Title 1) - $367 for Comprehension Kits

Susan Stansbury - $301 for Rimball Portable Basketball hoops

Emily Delanty/Guadalupe Ricconi - $415 Bilingual Literature for Small Reading Groups

Ladonna Helm and Bridget Maloney - $175 for a photo printer (and minimal supplies) for use with writing projects in their classrooms [These two projects were similar and merged for funding]

Gail Beck - $66 for additional Habitats (funded last year) to accommodate more 2nd graders than last year.
